Hi, I'm Raquel!

With 19 years of experience, I began my hairstyling career in San Francisco, completing a comprehensive apprenticeship at an education-driven salon. I advanced to Education Director of the haircutting department, mentoring new assistants and leading advanced haircutting courses for seasoned stylists. After dedicating 8 years to my clientele in San Fransisco I moved back to my home town of Stockton and began to work with our lovely community. ​​ 

I quickly became one of the few stylists in Stockton and the surrounding areas specializing in curly hair, though my passion extends to all textures. I love sculpting beautiful shapes in curly hair and designing low-maintenance, lived-in color with rich jewel tones. My goal is to create hair that looks naturally effortless, with a modern, chic finish. I also focus on empowering my clients by teaching them how to evolve their look from day to night, adapting their hair to every stage of life with ease and style. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​

My extensive training includes certifications from multiple education companies, and I’m committed to staying current with trends in both hair and fashion. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with top brands, expanding my cutting and coloring expertise in cities like London, Santa Monica, New York, Dallas, and Miami. I’ve also had the honor of participating in both London and New York Fashion Weeks, which further honed my craft.​Four years ago, I was selected for the R+Co Global team, where I’ve contributed to developing their curly cutting curriculum—a testament to my dedication to continuous learning and teaching.

 As a business-driven artist, I approach my work with professionalism and a warm, kind-hearted demeanor, ensuring my clients always feel taken care of.
